Project Description
Belief is a 9-minute fulldome flight through human-built environments and celestial visions revolving around the idea that the pursuit of science and religion both requires a genuine will to believe.
Debut short film by a video designer coming from theater and live events - made with a custom particle-system inside TouchDesigner using laser-scans and the AT-HYG star catalog - accompanied by spatial sound design setting the tone and orientating the viewer in space.
Created as a part of a group-project - titled MindSpace - at the HAW University. (Premiere 2025.12.11. at Planetarium Hamburg)
About the Director
Máté Bredán (Budapest-Hamburg) is a light and video designer for theaters, a cameraman on stage, a VJ, a multi-role technician. With a Bachelor in Media Design (MOME, 2024) and ongoing Sound/Vision Master's studies at HAW Hamburg, he now explores ways to merge his artistic work with his long-standing interest in physics through artistic science communication.
