Project Description

Samósura is an immersive 360° experience — a 5-minute visual journey that explores the profound connection between humanity and the cosmos in a metaphorical sense. It tells the timeless story of our quest for creation and truth, a path that often leads us to build walls, confront illusions, and ultimately transcend ourselves.

Through full-dome video mapping, a kaleidoscope of infinite worlds unfolds. Each scene blends refined abstraction with dynamic visual effects, evoking the sensation of weightless flight and drawing the viewer deep into an expansive realm of human imagination.

From the rich cultural heritage of bygone eras to the avant-garde innovations of modern technology and art, Samósura serves as an exhilarating gateway to the creative evolution that has enabled us to overcome our earthly confines in every sense.

About the Director

Ivan Gorokhov is a multimedia artist and founder of Meshsplash studio. Director and artist of the Nebula, Moon, Samosura video-mappings. Participant of projects in Dubai, Singapore, Kazakhstan. 2016, 2018 – 1st place in the ArtVision international mapping competition (Moscow, Russia). 2017 – speaker at the Circle of Light festival (Moscow, Russia). 2020, 2022, 2024 – participant of the Intervals festival (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). 2022 – Nebula's work was shortlisted for the best mappings of 2020 by the Video Mapping festival (Lille, France).
