SONOLUMIN is an animated 360 fulldome film captured in real world space using light and long exposure photography captured frame by frame. It premiered in August to launch the first Macon Fulldome Festival. The film and immersive performance (noted below) were made with support from the Knight Foundation and the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, GA. The film was shot in two locations, the Old Sheldon Church Ruins in South Carolina and the Driftwood Beach at Jekyll Island, Georgia. As light reveals portions of each location, a new location emerges -- a hybrid of the two.
