I am This

Co-written by director Cyrus Sutton and astrophysicist Jon Swift, this three minute short combines composited nature footage and practical effects to bring patterns in the universe into sharp relief. The music was composed by Mileece I’Anson by harnessing the electrical currents of plants. Instead of using CGI, everything was made by combining naturally captured elements. Nebulas were re-created using inks, lighting bolts and water were simulated by slicing and running electricity through wood.
